First proper post and what a great way to start it.
Yesterday was the biggest day so far in our move to NZ. Having been approved for our residency visas early in the week, we headed down to New Zealand House in Haymarket
We weren't there for long, just enough to get our stickers into our passports, admire the very large sculpture in the lobby and we were off again.
Due to the snow problems up North, we expected our flight back to Manchester to be delayed slightly. We took off about half an hour late, but arrived back into the North West without a problem.
Now the fun begins. Three weeks on Monday we leave, and there's a lot to do before we go.
